TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Bookings and Fees

1a – Reservations for classes and workshops are payable in advance. 1b – For repeat students participating in the ongoing classes, a re-signing date will be given. Failure to pay by the given date will result in the place being offered to new students. 1c – Fees due for work fired during ongoing classes is due on collection of the work. 1d – If a student is unable to attend one of the classes in a block booking, every effort will be made to find an alternative place in another session during the current block of classes on condition that notice of at least 7 days is given, no refunds will be given for missed sessions.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2a – Enigma Pottery reserves the right to cancel the class or workshop up to 7 days before the start date if numbers enrolled have not reached the minimum requirement or due to teacher availability through unforeseen circumstances. A complete refund of the fee or an alternative course will be offered. 2b – A full refund will be given in the event of a course or workshop being cancelled by the customer giving one full calendar month notice. 2c – A refund of fees will be given minus a 20% handling fee in the event of a course or workshop being cancelled by the customer giving between one month and 14 days’ notice. 2d – All fees paid will be forfeited by anyone cancelling a block of classes or workshop within 14 days of the start date.

3. Welfare

3a – During all classes and workshops, students will conduct themselves appropriately at all times. 3b – Enigma Pottery reserves the right to withdraw any students from the course for behaviour deemed to be detrimental to the smooth-running of the class/workshop or which might interfere with the studies of any other students in the group or the safety of other students or staff. 3c – Health and Safety precautions must be adhered to at all times (a copy is freely available in the studio) 3d – Children attending regular classes aged 8 years and under are to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Children over the age of 8 years may be left unattended but must be collected promptly at the stated finish time of the class. Students not collected promptly will be charged pro-rata for the time. 3e – During children’s parties, the children must be supervised at all times. 3f – Whilst awaiting collection, children at parties must be kept entertained with low energy party games and not left to run freely around the property. 3g – Enigma Pottery cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property. 3h – Names, photographs and videos may be taken and used electronically for marketing purposes, online and/or in print. Objections will be respected – please make these in writing to Enigma Pottery 72 hours before the class/workshop start date. 3i – Enigma Pottery operates a no smoking policy in the studio. 3j – Before leaving any child unsupervised (over 8 years only), the parent or guardian is required to leave a contactable telephone number and notify Enigma Pottery of any allergies, illnesses and anxieties the child may have. 3k – Failure to abide by any of the above conditions may lead to expulsion from the course with no refund of fees paid.
